Where did you get the name Little Dbo?

 

                  Little Dbo is pronounced Little Dee-bo. We came up with the name from our son Denver who we

                  lovingly call Dbo.

 

What kinds of clothes can be used?

 

You can use almost anything that is made of fabric; pj’s, onesies, Receiving blankets, overalls, robes, swim suit, costume, nursery curtains, wind breakers, rain coats, crib sheets, boppy covers, maternity shirt, shirts, sheets, pillow cases, bibs and jackets.

 

How many outfits do I need to include?

 

Little Dbo Throw- you will need a minimum 25 pieces of clothing.

Denver’s Favorite- you will need a minimum of 42 pieces of clothing.

Reeve’s Favorite- you will need a minimum of 63 pieces of clothing.

Dbo Large Throw- you will need a minimum of 88 pieces of clothing.

 

• These numbers are a minimum.  You can send up to double the minimum.  When  making the blankets more is generally better. This makes coordinating patterns, colors and texture a lot easier.

 

What if I do not have the minimum number of outfits needed?

 

            If you do not have the minimum number we are more than happy to insert “filler” squares into the blanket. We will hand pick fabric that will compliment the piece and while not disturbing the flow of the blanket. We will do this at no extra charge.

 

How long will it take?

 

                 In general it takes roughly 4 weeks from the time we receive your materials to complete a Little Dbo blanket. When ordering we will  be able to provide you with a more accurate time frame. Certain times of the year are busier than others. Expect a bit more lead time when ordering in the months leading up to Christmas (Oct. - Nov.). We suggest if you are giving a Little Dbo blanket as a Christmas gift you get your order in and materials to us before November 1st.

 

How do I care for my blanket?

 

                Our blankets are carefully sewn and able to withstand lots of loving use. They are machine washable on gentle cycle, tumble dry on low.

 

How should I prepare the clothes I am sending?

 

                Pre-wash all clothes.  

 

Will you be in touch with me thru the process?

 

                We will be in contact with you as much as needed. We will contact you when the clothes arrive. After the blanket is completed we will notify you prior to shipping and then provide you with a tracking number.

 

What happens to my unused baby clothes and scraps?

 

                 If you would like us to return your unused clothing and scraps we are more than happy to do so. We will ship them back to you in a separate shipment. There will be an additional charge and we can let you know what that will be when we see what is left.

 

Can I organize my clothing from most to least important?

 

                This is your memory blanket and we welcome and appreciate your input and  guidance. Some have pinned notes to important items and others have put the “Must  Include” in one bag and the “Extras” in another.  

 

Is there such thing as clothing too small?

 

                Each square making up the rag quilt is cut to a 6”x 6”. We can use the front and/or back of most items that measure at least 6” X 6”.

 

How much is shipping?  

 

                We provide FREE SHIPPING on all orders. Insurance is included which will  be for the cost of the blanket, not for the value of the shirts received. We also include Delivery Confirmation. You will receive a tracking number so you can track your order. Hawaii, Alaska and International destinations will be extra. (Please contact us  should you need a shipping quote).

 

Return policy?

 

                This is a custom made item returns are not possible; if a mistake was made in our fabrication, we will fix the problem at no additional cost. We want you to be happy with your quilt.

 

Can I get my blanket completed earlier?  

 

If you should need your blanket earlier than our average turn around of 4 weeks we will try to accommodate your needs. There will be an extra charge for rushed orders.

 

Where have I seen this before?

 

               You may have seen this most recently in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Bella receives a memory blanket from her mother.

 

What are my payment options?

 

               You may pay with you PayPal account. We also accept credit cards; Visa, Mastercard, Discover and                American Express through PayPal.  It is simple to set up a secure PayPal account where you can use your                cards with confidence.

How much is embroidery?

 

              All little Dbo blankets come with your child’s first name or monogramming.

 

              Personal messages are available. (12 characters per line)

• 1st line is $ 10.00
• Each additional line (up to 3 lines total) is $ 5.00

 

What if this is a surprise?

 

              Please let us know how, when and where you would prefer to be contacted so we don’t ruin

              the surprise.

 

Do you offer gift certificates?

 

              Yes. Gift certificates can be in any amount, but can not be refunded.

Does Little Dbo support a charity?

 

            We have been supporting a charity called Reece’s Rainbow.  A portion of our profit is donated directly to                these children.   www.reecesrainbow.org
